UAE Rotary and Rotaract Clubs Distribute Record-Breaking 24,600 Iftar Meals

In a remarkable display of community spirit, the UAE Rotary and Rotaract Clubs, under the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE, have successfully executed a record-breaking Iftar distribution, providing 24,600 meals to labor accommodations at Al Fajr Camp in Al Quoz, Dubai.

The Iftar meals were given to laborers during Ramadan, providing them with nutritious food after a long day of work. Many of these workers are far from their families and often struggle to find meals during this important time of year.

The successful distribution was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Rotary Clubs, private companies, and individuals, whose donations and support ensured that the initiative could reach its ambitious goal. Volunteers from both the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs worked diligently to ensure the meals were prepared, packaged, and delivered with care.

At Al Fajr Camp, workers expressed their gratitude for the meal distribution, highlighting how it not only provided them with a nutritious meal but also reminded them that they are appreciated and not forgotten.
