From February 6th to 9th, Dubai played host to an extraordinary Rotaract International Weekend, welcoming 26 international participants alongside local members. The event was a perfect blend of adventure, service, and celebration, reinforcing the spirit of Rotaract through shared experiences and meaningful connections.
Day 1: A Warm Welcome with BBQ Dinner
The festivities kicked off on February 6th with a delightful BBQ dinner, setting the stage for an incredible weekend. Under the starlit Dubai sky, participants mingled, exchanged stories, and forged new friendships, all while enjoying a spread of delicious grilled delicacies. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and the promise of unforgettable moments to come.
Day 2: Giving Back to Nature & Yacht Party Extravaganza
The second day was dedicated to a balance of environmental responsibility and luxurious fun. Participants engaged in a rewarding mangrove planting initiative, contributing to UAE’s sustainability efforts. The activity was followed by an exciting kayaking session, offering a refreshing way to explore the serene waters of the UAE’s coastal ecosystem.
As the sun set, the group set sail for an exclusive yacht party dinner. Cruising through the Dubai Marina, attendees relished gourmet cuisine, danced under the stars, and enjoyed breathtaking views of the city’s skyline. It was a night of glamour and fellowship, embodying the Rotaract spirit of celebrating global connections.
Day 3: A Chic Brunch at Iris Dubai & Grand Finale
The weekend continued with a stylish brunch at Iris Dubai, where participants indulged in exquisite food, lively music, and engaging conversations. The elegant venue provided the perfect backdrop for networking and strengthening the bonds formed over the past days.
To conclude the weekend on a high note, the final dinner was held at a spectacular venue overlooking the iconic Burj Khalifa. As the city lights illuminated the night, attendees reflected on the memorable experiences shared, exchanged heartfelt farewells, and pledged to keep the Rotaract connections alive beyond borders.
