In the recent fellowship meeting organized by the Rotary Club of Cosmopolitan on 6th of May 2024 at the Capital Club, Dr. Ahmed Soliman, an expert in Thalassaemia, highlighted the importance of early detection and management of this disorder. He emphasized the role of genetic counseling, prenatal screening, and advanced treatments such as blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy in improving the quality of life for Thalassaemia patients.
