On Tuesday, 27th August 2024, at 10:00 AM, the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE participated in a heartwarming event organized by the Watani Al Emarat Foundation through the Community Development Authority in celebration of World Humanitarian Day. The event began with an impactful talk focusing on Tolerance, Coexistence, Diversity, and Vocational respect in the UAE.
The event aimed to provide 500 laborers at Danube Sports World with an opportunity in socializing and entertainment. Volunteers encouraged the laborers to actively participate in various activities, including indoor sports, singing, and dancing. The music echoed through the venue as they danced and sang along, creating an unforgettable experience for all.
Through this community engagement initiative, the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE helped to encourage and appreciate these heroes who often work tirelessly behind the scenes. With the power of sports, music, and shared moments, the laborers were given a well-deserved break and an opportunity to bond with their peers and volunteers.
World Humanitarian Day and similar activities where we actively participate with Rotary showcase the importance of compassion and solidarity in our shared humanity, and confirm that through partnerships, our impact reaches a higher level.
