Rotary International is an international service organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization that is open to all. Membership is by invitation and based on various social factors.There are over 46,000 member clubs worldwide, with a membership of 1.4 million individuals, known as Rotarians.

There are 7 areas of focus and all our projects are aligned to these specific areas within them:

• Disease Prevention & Treatment

• Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

• Peace & Conflict Prevention/Resolution

• Basic Education and Literacy

• Maternal & Child Health

For more than 115 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. We believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.

If you are interested in becoming a Rotarian, get in touch with a club member who will contact you by email or phone to discuss your interest in Rotary. After this, you will be invited to get to know the club better by attending a club meeting, a social event, or even to join in on a service project as a volunteer. Each club has their own vision and are in search of specific classification and profiles of members. Our Board members can guide you better how to continue your journey with Rotary.
